Nadiya is the Board Administrator and Office Manager at the Wellesley Institute, a national independent non-partisan institute working to advance population health through applied research, pragmatic policy and community mobilization. Nadiya also organizes events and is the benefits administrator. She has recently completed the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) academic program.

Nadiya graduated with a Masters of Philology of World Languages and Literature from the Kiev State University, Romano-Germanic Languages Department in the Ukraine and has 15 years experience as an English Language Teacher. After the Perestroika she worked for commercial businesses and in 1996 joined the team of a newly opened World Bank office in Kiev as a Mission Coordinator and later as the Assistant to the Deputy Head of Mission. In 1999 she and her family moved to Toronto and Nadiya started to work as administrative assistant in different not-for-profit organizations and businesses. Nadiya has knowledge on revitalization, community organization, the voluntary sector, human resources and partnerships. Nadiya also volunteers her time to the Out of the Cold project and the Leading to Reading program at the Toronto Public Library.
