It is time for our work and contribution, our skills and experience to be supported as we work to advocate for our communities also in so many ways. We should not have to go hungry while we are accomplishing great things. (FORWARD has been before the United Nations) We should not have to live with the threat of homelessness. We too should be nurtured, and funded. I just hope that those non-profits encourage, support and respect grassroots initiatives such as Peacock Poverty, Forward (and others).
