Kyle Andrew Smith Scanlon was a beloved community leader, friend and colleague, and a pillar in the trans community. With his passing, we grieve the loss of a dynamic spirit and we also celebrate the inspiration from his dynamic and engaged life. Kyle is missed by his friends at the Wellesley Institute. He was principal investigator for a Wellesley Institute-funded study through the Trans Shelter Access Project at the 519 Church Street Community Centre for the research and policy project Invisible Men: FTMs and Homelessness in Toronto – which moved the policy agenda at Toronto City Hall.
