These speaking notes highlighted lessons learned from the pilot project undertaken by Wellesley, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Toronto Central LHIN in spring-summer 200; argued that HEIA could contribute significantly to equity-focussed service planning and was essentially ‘ready-to-go’; and set out a number of success conditions LHINs – and Regional Health Authorities and others across the country — could consider if they were to implement HEIA.
