Do you have ten or more people in your organization?

Is your business growing?

Do tasks and details sometimes slip through the cracks?

Is your existing Performance Management System not getting the results you’re looking for?

Does your staff shudder at the words “performance appraisal”?

or...

Are you looking to implement a system to create accountabilities and fairness within your structure?

If you answered yes to any of these situations, this course is for you. The workshop is designed to build on your current level of understanding of performance management, whether experienced or novice, to create a workforce that is accountable, creative, motivated and working toward your organizational goals.

Participants will learn:

  • To define key criteria (the right customized criteria) to be included in a Performance Management System.
  • The steps specific to the project management of the process of system implementation or change.
  • The communication skills required to deliver a successful review or appraisal in 6 easy steps.

Who should attend:

  • Executive Directors, Managers and Supervisors responsible for managing performance of staff reporting to them.
  • Human Resource Specialists or Project Team Members who are responsible for the design, redesign and/or maintenance of a Performance Management System.
  • Individuals who hope to be promoted to positions where they will be responsible for performance management of others.

Participants should bring a blank copy of the performance appraisal form used at their agency or organization to the workshop if they currently have one.
