Ali R. Suleman

Board Member

Ali Suleman was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (Acting) of Hydro One in 2014. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Treasurer from 2004, and as Treasurer from 1999. He joined Ontario Hydro in 1991 as Treasury Analyst.  In 1994, Ali worked with Manulife Financial as Manager, Corporate Finance before rejoining Ontario Hydro in 1995 as Manager, Debt. Prior to joining Ontario Hydro in 1991, he worked in the municipal bond area in New York City.

Ali graduated from York University with a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance.
