Monique Crichlow is the Executive Director of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society (SRI) at the University of Toronto, Canada’s largest and most prestigious university, and one of the top research-intensive institutions worldwide. At SRI, Monique oversees strategy, operations, partnerships, and an interdisciplinary team tackling complex issues related to the societal impact of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI).
With a diverse career blending technological innovation and strategic leadership, she leads impactful projects and shapes influential policies. Previously, Monique served as the Director of Strategic Engagement & Partnerships at Indoc Research, an organization dedicated to scientific innovation and research excellence through custom computing platforms, research software and support.
Monique holds a Master of Health Administration from the Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy at the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Glendon College at York University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute, a Certified Healthcare Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
