Christine is a Researcher at Wellesley Institute. She is supporting the work of the Social Determinants of Health Working Group under the Mental Health and Addictions Leadership Advisory Council. Before joining Wellesley Institute, Christine worked as a human rights policy researcher in Hong Kong. She has previous experience in NGOs on youth development and affordable housing. She has worked in Hong Kong, the mainland China, US, and the UK. Christine is passionate about building an inclusive and healthy GTA by reducing health inequities and creating social conditions that strengthen Torontonians’ ability to thrive. Her research interests include mental health, equity and social justice, discrimination, and minority rights. She holds a master’s in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford.
