Fiona Scott is a Project Lead and Researcher working on developing a mental health action plan for Toronto. Fiona is passionate about addressing the root cause of social problems including the social determinants of health.
Fiona began her research career at the Institute of Psychiatry in London, England where she worked on research projects in forensic psychiatry, addictions, and child and youth mental health. Prior to joining the Wellesley Institute, Fiona worked as an independent Research and Evaluation Consultant, working with community-based groups in Toronto to help them demonstrate their impact in relation to mental health, poverty, and crime prevention.
