Gideon Quaison holds an undergraduate degree in Health Studies and is a graduate student at the University of Toronto. He is currently enrolled in the Dalla Lana’s Master of Public Health program. He describes himself as an advocate for healthier cities and a health equity researcher. Gideon is passionate about social change and how it can influence the lives of marginalized groups in Toronto. In addition, the concept of Physical Literacy and how this relates to youth is an area of interest to him.
Gideon has recently joined the Wellesley Institute as a summer practicum student. He is working on a project that aims to improve the educational, economic and social outcomes for marginalized youth in Ontario.
