Nina is a communications professional passionate about making good health and wellness accessible to all through effective communication. She has an interest in data analytics, user experience and quality improvement.
Communications Officer at Wellesley Institute, Nina held communication positions at Kensington Health, where she supported communication needs and projects for residential care, community care and ambulatory care programs, as well as fundraising events. Nina was also the founding Chair of the diversity and inclusion committee at Kensington Health.
She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science, with a Major in Biology and Minor in Communication, from the University of Ottawa, and a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Seneca at York University. She was an Emerge Media Award Finalist in the public relations category in 2017.
She believes in continuous learning and has since taken multiple courses at University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies.
Nina currently volunteers on the Advocacy Committee for The Neighbourhood Group Community Services.
