Sylvia is currently completing her Masters of Public Health at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, specializing in Health Promotion and Public Health Policy. She previously completed her Honours Bachelors of Science at the University of Toronto, in Health & Disease, Immunology, and Sociology. During her undergraduate degree, she conducted research on social inequality, and has previously worked as a policy assistant at the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, which fueled her passion for mental health advocacy. Her research interests include the social determinants of mental health and the role of public health policy in reducing social and health inequalities.
