Wellesley Institute is conducting research on how communities are involved in shaping primary care at the health service provider level in Ontario. This study is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health. The project is a next step in Wellesley’s recent body of research into health equity in primary care.
As part of this current project, we are undertaking an environmental scan to identify and document models, strategies and practices used by health service providers to engage community voices in primary care planning, delivery and governance.
Do you have anything to share?
What we’re looking for

- Evaluations, reflections or assessments of models that have been implemented
We are particularly interested in initiatives that are currently being implemented or were previously implemented in Ontario.

Your contributions will help:
- Improve understanding of how equity is incorporated into community engagement
