Good research is key to ending homelessness in Canada. It helps us understand the scale and scope of homelessness, design adequate and fully-funded housing policies and programs, set realistic targets and timelines and measure accountability for results. The research table must include people who have experienced homelessness. These are some of the observations by Michael Shapcott, the Wellesley Institute’s Director of Affordable Housing and Social Innovation, during a video interview.
