Wellesley Institute exists to develop the evidence and to identify the policy solutions that will lead to action and impact on health and health equity in the Greater Toronto Area.
However, one stumbling block has been the lack of agreement on how to move forward. As political rhetoric becomes more polarized, getting consensus also becomes more difficult. Over the last year, Wellesley focused on assembling evidence and convening tables that decrease divisions and create space for everyone to come together to find common ground.
Our 2024-2025 Impact Report highlights this work and outlines upcoming projects that aim to further build a healthier, fairer place for us all to live.
