Do you have challenges accessing primary care in Ontario?
Wellesley Institute is looking for participants from Black, East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities to speak in a focus group about their experiences accessing primary care in Ontario.
To participate, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Live in Ontario.
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Self-identify as Black, East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, or 2SLGBTQ+.
- Have difficulty finding or seeing a family doctor, nurse practitioner or other provider for your healthcare needs (have challenges accessing primary care).
- Be low-income or have difficulty making ends meet by the end of each month.
The focus group interview via Zoom will be up to 90 minutes. In order to take part in the study, participants must agree to be audio-recorded. We are looking for up to 40 participants in total. Participants will receive $40 via e-transfer or a $40 gift card or cash via mail or email for their participation.
