This project undertakes an innovative inquiry into the shelter needs of members of the homeless Female-to-Male (FTM) trans community in Toronto. Through interviews with homeless FTMs and shelter staff, and partnerships with key stakeholders from relevant sectors, this innovative inquiry will focus a lens on the unique barriers that FTMs experience and engage key stakeholders in development of a cross-sector response to this considerable gap.
