Long Term Affordable Housing Strategy Submission

Five years after the Ontario government adopted a Long Term Affordable Housing Strategy (LTAHS) it is preparing an updated version to set directions for the next several years. This document puts forward the key priorities that the Wellesley Institute believes should inform the Ontario government’s framework and actions in affordable housing.

The planned 2015/16 update of the Long Term Affordable Housing Strategy (LTAHS) is an opportunity to build on the principles LTAHS established in 2010. Housing is a significant social determinant of health and one of the main elements in healthy and inclusive communities.
