U4Change to hold 200 Wellesley St. Fire Relief Fundraiser on Oct. 8, 2010

U4Change, a project for youth in St. James Town that seeks to build community through arts and culture, will hold a relief fundraiser to help the people who have been left without shelters as a result of the 200 Wellesley St. fire. Come watch artistic performances by talented youth and join us in our bake sale. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Land

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the Wellesley Institute operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
