Alisha Tax

Alisha is a Policy Officer at Wellesley Institute, where she works on improving working conditions in the care economy. She holds a bachelor degree in international development and a masters degree in sociology, which inform her systems-level approach to policy. Her professional experience spans public policy, childcare and caregiver advocacy and qualitative research across governmental, academic, and non-profit settings. She uses this experience to connect evidence with policy solutions that support healthier, more equitable work.
