The Wellesley Institute is in the process of developing a resource to support practitioners in government and public engagement vendors to engage with equity-seeking groups around the development of social policy. To support this project, the team conducted a literature review and environmental scan on existing approaches to public consultations and engagement, focused on equity-seeking groups.
The project output includes the Literature Review and Environmental scan report, which covers methodology and metrics, an overview of ‘best-in-class’ toolkits, and key themes around engagement-focused documents. The output of the project also includes an Engagement Database, which includes information and hyperlinks to over 250 engagement focused documents.
