Children’s experiences influence life-long health. The impacts of the social determinants of health are often amplified for children and can shape their outcomes later in life. Evidence shows that the earlier we invest, the better children do throughout their lives. It is important to look upstream and tackle the systemic root issues that may be preventing youth from reaching their full potential.
