The average Canadian works 33.3 hours per week. So it’s no surprise that working conditions affect health. But what makes a workplace healthy? A thriving wage, access to decent benefits, mental health supports, as well as anti-racism and anti-discrimination policies all contribute to a healthy workplace. As workplaces continue to evolve, and conditions change, employee health should remain a priority.
