The Influence of Green Space on Mental Health & Well-being

There is a body of research that indicates green space provides those living in urban spaces with access to the natural environment and its related benefits. The aim of this scoping review of reviews is to examine the evidence that exists about green space and mental health and provide a comprehensive scan of the vast amount of literature that exists in this area of study.

Nadha Hassen

Nadha Hassen was a Junior Fellow at Wellesley Institute in 2015-2016. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto. She was a CIHR Fellow in Public Health Policy and also completed the Community Development Collaborative Program. For the previous five years, Nadha worked in research at policy and community levels, including roles at Public Health Ontario, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and Africa’s Children-Africa’s Future (AC-AF).
