Adriel Weaver is a litigator at Goldblatt Partners, with a particular focus on criminal, constitutional, and administrative law matters. Her clients include criminal defendants, immigration detainees, human rights claimants, unions and professional associations, and public interest advocacy organizations. In addition to an LL.B. (Osgoode), Adriel also holds a B.A. in Urban and Environmental Studies (Toronto) and a Master’s in Environmental Studies (York), and has a longstanding interest in urban health and health equity. Adriel was called to the Ontario Bar after clerking at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She teaches several courses in the Criminology and Sociolegal Studies program at the University of Toronto, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), and the Prisoners with HIV/AIDS Support and Action Network (PASAN).
