Paul Jonathan Saguil

Board Member

Paul is an award-winning Filipino-Canadian lawyer who has defended equality and human rights before the Supreme Court of Canada. He currently works on the front lines of fighting financial crime and combating corruption worldwide. He has demonstrated his passion and long-standing commitment to equity for vulnerable and marginalized communities through a career dedicated to volunteerism and public service, including in leadership capacities with a number of non-profit organizations such as The 519 Community Centre, Asian Community AIDS Services, Start Proud, and the Ontario Justice Education Network

Acknowledgement of Traditional Land

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the Wellesley Institute operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
