Tina Svensson joins the Wellesley Institute after more than 25 years as a business and finance executive in the private sector. With a wish to contribute in the non-profit sector, she brings to this new role a clear understanding of what it takes to manage a financially viable organization while achieving short and long term goals. Having worked in a variety of industries and rising through the ranks of operations and finance, she served last as Vice President, Operations in the promotional products industry working with customers in top Fortune 500 companies.
She is a recent graduate from the Schulich Mini-MBA program. Her expertise includes developing mid-range to long term strategies in Finance, Facilities, HR and Operations. When she isn’t spending spare time with her new granddaughter, she currently volunteers at a Hospice in Toronto. It is her passion to be involved with communities that brings her to Wellesley and she looks forward to contributing to its future vision.
