Integration Of Concept Mapping And Photovoice: Understanding Immigrant Perceptions Of Neighbourhood Influences On Health

This study is unique and the first of its kind to consider the use of photographs as the input material for concept mapping. Two participatory research techniques are converged here: Photovoice and Concept Mapping. This study establishes that these two techniques can be effectively used to engage disadvantaged populations in multiple ways throughout the process of project development, data collection, data analysis, and organizing the data into useful information for program planning and policy advocacy.
